I posted a YouTube video about a book recommendation and review for It Didn't Start with You: How Inherited Family Trauma Shapes Who We Are and How to End the Cycle by Mark Wolynn. I highly recommend this deep and psychological book because it changed my perspective on karma and our ancestral lineage. I connected countless dots to my own family history, as tears fell onto the pages. The following are some essential points from the book:

• The book explains that many personal struggles, or karmas, are not always the individual's own but can be inherited from ancestors, including parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

• Until an inherited problem or trauma is acknowledged and resolved, it is likely to continue repeating itself through the family lineage and potentially into future lifetimes. It is vital to recognize and speak about uncomfortable topics or family secrets to prevent these cycles.

• The information in this book relates to tropical Vedic astrology, specifically the South Node of the Moon (Ketu), which relates to our ancestors and past lives. I've heard that the family we are born into is parallel to the karmas that we have to burn from other lifetimes, which highlights that doing the work with our ancestry can provide another layer of insight into our past.
